Richard Kepka Builders was founded in February 2005, building on a lifetime in the construction industry.
Richard is a Licensed Building Practitioner with 49 years of hands-on experience. He began his career working alongside his father, Ian Kepka, at Kepka Construction – where he developed the practical discipline, attention to detail and strong work ethic that still define the company today.
What started as a foundation in family trade has grown into one of Hawke’s Bay’s most respected residential building companies.

Josh Lindroos
General Manager
Experience:
17 years of carpentry experience combined with extensive project management expertise across residential construction projects.
Skills:
Strong professional project management capability, with effective use of construction software to manage budgets, variations, timelines, and overall project performance.
Strengths:
Highly organised with the ability to keep projects on track through structured systems and processes, including Buildxact, detailed Gantt schedules, and backcosting templates.
Kerrie O'Connor
Office Administrator
Experience:
20 years of industry experience, bringing valuable knowledge and stability to the business.
